Actifry (or similar) - any good?

Are Actify's any good?

I'm tempted but reviews seems to say the paddle tends to break.

My parents have had one for a few years and nothings broken on it. They're really good for chips and wedges etc. I plan on buying one soon!

Ooh encouraging, thanks. I can't say we fry things much but what does put me off is the mess (and the health aspect) both of which seem to be favourably covered by air fryers from what I've read.
