that have been adapted for TV recently:
The White Queen by Philippa Gregory (currently televised on the BBC, Sunday nights) has gone down to 99p.
My Mad, Fat Teenage Diary by Rae Earl (was televised by Channel 4 earlier this year) is now £1.99.
The Poison Tree by Erin Kelly (ITV, late in 2012) is now £1.99 too.

I am very pleased because they have all been on my wishlist for ages, and rightly or wrongly I don't let myself pay 'proper' book prices for downloads. Whether this saves me money in the long run is debatable, though, I have so much on my Kindle.

Thanks for the info - I think I paid £2.99 for The White Queen (and then bought the sequels too)

Not on tv, but Wolf Hall and Bring up the Bodies were 99p down from 9.99 in Kindle store

So is And the Mountains Echoed. I have been waiting to read that one.

Sorry everyone 'The White Queen' has now gone back up to £2.99. Others are still the prices I stated though.

Why do Amazon have to constantly tinker about with their prices?

The City and the City by China Mieville is only £1.19 at the moment.
