Natural mosquito repellant

I'm looking for some natural mosquito repellant for DS for our summer hols. We will be in the tropics (mossie heaven!)

Looked in Boots but all their stuff has that Deet stuff.

If anyone has tried or found a natural repellant (which works) I've found citronella doesn't seem to be particularly effective, please let me know!

Thanks

I just bought some from superdrug. IMO Boots selection was awful.

Superdrug have childrens mosi spray which was natural or just normal natural mosi spray with no DEET for adults.

bioforce neem spray is excellent, i use it here for midges and abroad for mosquitoes, i used to get eaten alive but dont anymore.
you get it in health shops. its totally natural.

Avon has a non-DEET, non-citronella repellant. I've not tried it but they have quite a good reputation for the insect repellant properties of some of their stuff.

just remembered, Biofore have changed their name, they are now called A.Vogel.

also the neem spray smells much better than the citronella based ones.

It was DEET DEET all the way, with dead mossies mixed in our path like mad.

With apologies to Browning.

'Tis the only thing that works for me.

Deet that is.

A lot of people swear by brewers yeast, marmite or garlic.( Eating these things obviously!!) Supposed to make your smell less appealing but don't know how old DS is!!

PS if your going somewhere where the mozzies spread malaria then DEET is the only way to go IMO!!

I used the Bioforce Neem stuff last year - smells lovely, but absolutely useless: I was eaten alive.
