Kindle Fire is pissing me off!!!

I have a basic kindle. If I want to add a book, I plug it into the laptop and move the.book to the device.

My DM has a Kindle Fire and wants me to fill it with books. I am trying, but the device makes NO sense to me. I have dragged the books into 'Books' and only a third are showing on the device. Yet when I check thw folders of the KF on the laptop, all books are showing there

Im going to end up.throwing it out of the window soon.

Don't you just buy the. Books ant they automatically download? I never plug my kindle into the pc. Is it connected to your wifi? If so they should just appear after purchase.

I've a feeling the KF is very much tied to amazon and the epub or what ever format books you are tryig to put on are the wrong format ( wher e as the ordinary kindle will cope)

Try using the calibre software ( its like itunes for books and free) to add them
