cheap Gazebo

we have had to chop down two trees in our garden make way for a new garage and driveway. They will be replaced eventually but it means we have no shade in our back garden all summer.

I think I need to buy a Gazebo to give DD at least some shade but dont want to spend oodles of money. Homebase have one for £60. Does anyone know of any other good deals please?

I bought a gazebo from Asda for £15 bit of a nightmare to put up (was trying to do it singlehanded while dh watched Angry) but was impressed once up!

chjlly - do you by any chance know the rough measurements of your Asda one?
Average seems to be 250 high and about 3 metres wide. Would you say about that size?

That sounds about right! we had to throw the box away as some lovely person left dog poo around and the box was shoved on it Angry

I would offer to put it up & check the size but that was a nightmare in itself!

arrgh, got mine out, and found lost one of the plastic corners, looks like i have to get a new gazebo now

would it be okay to just put it up and leave it all summer?

I really dont want to be having to put it up and down - you can bet I'll want to use it when DH is away and i wont be able to manage it on my own.
