Does anyone know where............

I can find a sleeping bag with Thomas the Tank Engine on. I have "googled" everywhere and cannot find anything other than the ready bed's which I don't want.

I know that they make them, but can't find one.

Otherwise, does anyone know of anywhere to get "interesting" kids sleeping bags.

I need something to bribe him into bed when we are on holiday!

Thank you in advance.

Is this any good?

tamum · 07/02/2004 14:04

I guess not, BadHarir, Mingle says she doesn't want a ready bed. That was all I could find too!

BadHair · 07/02/2004 14:08

Oops, sorry Mingle, not reading properly. Will have another look.

I have found one here

Debbiethemum · 07/02/2004 14:28

Sorry don't know where you can get a sleeping bag. But does anyone know if the ready bed ones are suitable for actually camping.

Thanks

Thanks for all your help everyone - I had to go and clean out the guinea pig / rabbit.

Jan I have put that one on watching, no bids wo far so fingers crossed. I missed it earlier when looking on e-bay.

I never realised that there was so much Thomas "stuff" available! At least I now know that it is not just my ds who is obsessed.

Debbie - forgot to add that I don't know about the ready beds, but if it is for use in the summer, I don't see why not. You could always throw a blanket on top.

If your ds Likes thomas thought he might like this.

It's not to far from you i don't think.

www.midlandrailwaycentre.co.uk/thomas.html

You actually get to ride on a real thomas and his friends.

Thanks Fairydust, no that isn't to far from us, might try and get tickets.

We took him to the one at Churnet Valley / Froghall last February - which was a long trek - but when we got there they had stopped the service as a forklift driver had driven across the tracks and got hit by the train. It wasn't going very fast when it hit him but I think he broke a few bones, but the poor bloke didn't get much sympathy from the parents there!

The Thomas Show is at the NIA in Birmingham in May, so may take him to that as well, hopefully he will either be fed up of Thomas or will have grown out of it by then:0
