The prices seem to vary a lot...

TK Maxxx, if you can bear to go in there!

tiredemma · 06/06/2006 11:48

i got mine from costco for £20.

UglySister · 06/06/2006 11:48

No I can´t - good stuff there no doubt but always avoid like the plague.

I tend to avoid it too! It is all too jumbled for my liking. Apparantly they are around £7-£10 in there though.

YellowFeathers · 06/06/2006 11:52

I've just got a pair for £20, well £19.99 plus p&p.
I'll try and get the link for you.

blueteddy · 06/06/2006 11:53

Have you looked on ebay?

YellowFeathers · 06/06/2006 11:55

They have a few left in the sale.
I also looked on ebay and their prices aren't much different. I've seen them in TK Maxx and they are £20.

UglySister · 06/06/2006 12:00

Thanks. Funny re TK Max, do you get lots of famous brands in there? Can u buy online??!! I´m like you Blue Teddy, the shop is always in such a mess I even avoid walking through it, somehow depressing. Can´t stand sales either. Don´t know how people bear them either.

I don't like sales either. The clothes always look so unappealling when all bunched up & thrown together. If I buy in sales, I like to do it on line.
You can get good makes in TK Maxx, for a fraction of the normal price, but I just cannot be done with ploughing through all the jumble!

YellowFeathers · 06/06/2006 12:30

TK Maxx doesn't have an online site.

You can pick up some good stuff there if your prepared to rummage. I think someone on here said they got a pair of Seven jeans the other week for a bargain price.

I used to work for them and that was bad enough. We spend hours after closing trying to tidy up. An almost impossible job.

blueteddy · 06/06/2006 12:36

Yes, I have heard you can pick up seven jeans for around £40.
My sister went in there for the first time last week, after hearing this. She took one look in there & just walked straight back out again!
You have to be someone who is prepared to rummage to have any joy in that shop!
