So she doesn't need the wheeled frame ? Just the car seat/carrycot ? If so, I'd suggest the ...

Mamas & Papas Navetta Carrycot) which is both a carrycot and can be fitted to the car like a car seat can.

Or

\link{http://www.ds-uk.net/BABYBOOM%20Jane%20Matrix.htm\Jane Matrix which is the same idea.

We are borrowing a Matrix from friends, but have just bought the 3 wheel pushchair to fit it. Can I ask how long it was before your child outgrew the Matrix? Did they have enough space to move? Does anyone have any experience of the Jane carrycot or 0+ car seat?

BearintheBigBlueHous · 09/02/2004 19:39

DD was a "well covered" baby so she graduated from the Matrix in it's regular car-seat position way before 9 months. I think we got her into a 9m+ seat from about 7 months. DS is a long but skinny fella and at 4 months is now too long for the lie-flat position. I guess we'll have him in the sit-up position for another 3 or 4 months before becoming a double Britax Duo family (summer time, Coddy, if your friend is interested and Beccarollover has sold hers before then). I know it doesn't seem long for the money, but it's been more than worth it as they have both been comfortable and secure lying down - and both slept really well on every journey. We also had the comfort of knowing that, especially on longer journeys, it was better for their little backs. Our chassis is one of the old 4-wheeler versions, the new 3-wheeler is a tech-obsessed gadget-lover's dream.
