Round ceramic bowl sink for bathroom-anyone have one?

I was wondering what surround you have.

I have bought a round counter top sink and refused to pay silly money for the surrounds they can come with (I didn't like any of the styles anyway) My carpenter wants me to sketch up a design and I have gone blank (the actual top that the sink rests on will be a buff coloured stone)
Looking for any ideas/suggestions from clever Mnetters. Grin

i do. but am being a bit dim about what you mean. it sits on a box-like structure (that hides the pipes) - think it has a marble slab on top. i shall look when ds wakes up from his nap and report back...

also has a splashback.

Ok well the carpenter has ripped everything that was there originally.
I have a big gap a marble/stone top and the sink etc but he wants to know what kind of design I want that he can sort of replicate.
I want some thing really simple that hides the pipes but does have doors and all the pallaver.

ah, ok. i understand (i think). ours doesn't reach to the floor (the boxing) because the pipes go back in to the wall at the back - so there's a gap underneath (where i have a storage basket). the boxing is only a foot or so deep iirc.

so i think i'm no use to you at all - sorry!

We have. It sits on a wall mounted cupboard, which hides the pipework, has an integral drawer and marble top.

Look at the Porcelanosa website for some ideas.

Thanks, looked at their website and can't see what would work.

Grrr, wish I was having a creative day today.
