Ear protection for babies (festivals)

I looked at several websites which all seem to recommend ear defenders, www.eardefendersforkids.co.uk/web/index.php but when I contacted the company, they don't advise using them for under six months due to the soft nature of babies skulls. Are there any other out there that are suitable (ideally that would last until they older too like ear defenders).

If not, would you just use ear defenders? DS will be 5 months and wearing them for 10 hours tops over the course of 3 days (say 3 hours per day approx), surely they won't deform his head in that time and better than damaging ear drums?

I'd stay at home and miss the festival.. If u are thinking otherwise... Why did u have a child?

We have some and I would say they are quite strong so I get what the company are saying.
Have you tried the RNID website? I think it's changed its name to something like action for hearing loss.
There's a website called e-festivals which has good forums;maybe someone there can help?

I can't think of anything worse than taking a small baby to a festival. I think it's rather cruel to be putting ear defenders on a baby when it's a matter you have a choice in
