got a problem with the plastic foot rest on DDs buggy

as its all bent and pressing on the front wheels which is driving me and dp nuts as i have the wheels on swivel but most of the time i take a sharp turn to left or right - the plastic footrest is bent whilst my dd is resting her feet on it. The buggy is a good make - Chigaco (sp).

could do with a new buggy with a hardboard footrest but my DD is 20 months tmrw and i dont think its worth getting a new buggy. dont know what to do?

How about getting a second-hand buggy just to keep you going for a little bit longer? You should be able to pick up a decent one without spending too much.

I got the foot rest replaced at Toys r Us (I did buy it there). Can you have it repaired? Or buy second hand as Pixel suggests.
