how do i burn music from computer to a cd?

this might be in wrong section.
but i have a disk burner, i have a cd, cd-rw, and i hit burn disk in itunes menu, and nothing happens
any advice much appreciated

Have you put the disk you want to copy in to the cd holder first? I think burn actually means "put on to" IYSWIM so you need to copy it first.

Ours talks you through it (windows media player) so no help there.

you need to make friends with the little blue pixies .. leave them out raisins and small chocolates ...

you need to select the tunes you want to burn to disc from your pc first, did you do that?

yes i did selcet them but i think its the disk burner itself, work on a laptop so its external and i think i bought a piece of junk.
