Does anyone have a Maxi Cosi Rodi car booster seat?

What do you think of it? I have seen these in a kids catalogue and they look like the perfect next move from a second stage car seat. Dd1 is 4 and a bit and struggling slightly with her current car seat. The Rodi looks good but is expensive at £60. I like the fact that it has a head rest - she often drops off on journeys.

What age did your child grow out of the second stage car seat?

don't be silly, that's what we're all here for

the graco junior plus looks a bargain at half price at halfords, but IKWYM about the Rodi looking good, and v sturdy. let me know what you think. I'll probably be getting a 2nd tripp trapp high chair too, so I'll probably go for somewhere which can deliver both at once

Enid, we have a Rodi for DD1 and she loves it. It fits in a Ford Focus saloon, a Seat Cordoba estate and my mum's Nissan Almeira. DD1 likes the armrests and there's a slot thing to thread the seatbelt through which keeps it off her neck. And the covers are washable, as we were able to test when she was sick all over the back of the car.

We were lucky and got 2 for £70(one for each car, because we sometimes have complicated transport arrangements!) from Kiddicare last year - worth checking for bargains.

The headrest is good, but sometimes she falls asleep and her head still lolls around, so we've got one of those inflatable horseshoe-shaped cushions for her neck, IYKWIM.

HTH!
