...a 1yo to use a Tommy Tippee Easiflow beaker? You have to bite the spout and suck at the same time. My 3yo has worked it out, but the little one is getting very frustrated!

Could you squeeze the spout for him as he sucks? Then if he can do that maybe he'll get it that he has to squeeze it with his teeth, rather than you with your fingers? Apologies if 1 yr ol is DD not DS!

My ds was about 11mths old when he finally figured it out. I brought the cup (and several others) when he was about 6 mths old but he ahdn't got a clue. I tried loads of different one's but nothing. In the end i just let him play with them to get used to them and that was the one he liked the most. It is quite hard to use though i think. I recently bought ds a new one (same make) and it took him a couple of days to get the hang of it again.
