What on earth is this?! Comes in at a whopping £469.99. Would you walk down the street with this ?!!!

It looks like a Tripp Trap highchair on wheels.

I quite like it Though the price is just silly!

Beccarollover · 02/02/2004 10:26

I saw this the other day - couldnt believe the price!!

Seems like a good idea (child being high up so they can see all around) but I dont like how it looks either

marthamoo · 02/02/2004 10:27

Weird! Not for me (especially not at that price!)

WSM, don't know if you were just browsing on twoleftfeet - but please don't buy anything from them. I had a bad experience with them and when I researched them they are a Trading Standards nightmare. Steer well clear

Tissy · 02/02/2004 10:30

it is a Tripp Trapp on wheels- well it's made by the same people!

marthamoo, tell us about the problems you've had with 2 left feet- I bought a few things from them (a couple of years ago), and had no problems at all. They were cheaper than any other company, had the cot we wanted in stock, and it was delivered on time in good condition....

WSM · 02/02/2004 10:33

Me too, we bought DD's highchair from them and they were absolutely spot on. The chair was delivered well within their quoted times and was in perfect condition.

It just looks mad ! I personally would feel a bit embarrassed wandering around with it. The frame looks like it should have a hoover bag on it, not a baby seat !

I like it! It raises your little one above the level of most car exhausts, I always hate walking next to busy roads as ds is just at the same hight as car exhausts in his buggy but this would lift them out of the way.

WSM · 02/02/2004 10:41

I think it's one of those things that you either love or hate. It will have a fairly select but loyal following.

I quite like it

The little girl in the picture doesn't seem to though!!

Gomez · 02/02/2004 10:51

Fabby idea which I might consider for Bump. When I compare the price to what we have been looking at already then not too much more to be honest!

aloha · 02/02/2004 10:53

I like it being so high - I think that's a great idea, and I also like a pushchairs that can face you instead of away. Much easier to chat like that. But the price! Yikes.

emmatmg · 02/02/2004 11:03

YUK! and another point, where would all the shopping go?

SoupDragon · 02/02/2004 11:07

I quite like it (but not the price!) I always hated the way DSs were so low down in their pushchairs.

Demented · 02/02/2004 11:21

I like it but it is way too expensive.

suedonim · 02/02/2004 11:22

I beleive you can pick up a buggy like that for free at any airport terminal! It really does look like a baggage trolley. I prefer something a bit more elegant, myself.
