do you mean soft or plastic?

gigglinggoblin · 23/05/2006 20:26

either! not fussy, just has to be suitable for a toddler

Would a chicken do?

azroc · 23/05/2006 20:30

Folkmanis do some great animal hand puppets, they may well have a cockerel. There are UK stockists - if you get stuck, The Toy Tree in Devizes are v. helpful.

\link{http://www.folkmanis.de/folkmanisnew/english/puppets/D-K.htm#H\this company} do beautiful puppets. They have a hen, which is rather nice, but dunno if they could get it to you for Wednesday.

Have you tried ringing Hamleys?

JanH · 23/05/2006 20:31

That's not a hen, it's a chick!

Sorry, tissy, meant soupy's ELC one, not yours Smile

tissy · 23/05/2006 20:32

wahey! Folkmanis do a cockerel, but I didn't think of looking under "Rooster"

peachygirl · 23/05/2006 20:34

you could try puppets by post

\link{http://puppetsbypost.com\PBP} go to farm animals they have lovely puppets, a cockerel / hen for £6.50.
They are very friendly if you ring them they might get it to you on time

SoupDragon · 23/05/2006 20:34

I agree Jan, but that's what the description said!
