Potty advice

We are hoping to toilet train ds1 in the summer and wondered what we should be looking for in a potty? Any advice gratefully received!

DD prefered a potty chair rather than a normal potty. Some of the cheaper ones are really hard and would leave a ring on DD's little bottom too.

I would buy a 99p one!
And then a little seat for the big toilet.

something really simple. i panicked and bought an elaborate 3in1 affair from argos which has only been used as a step or a hat. get something you can shove in the bottom of the pushchair when you go to the park.
