Handbag highchair any good?

Has anyone tried the handbag highchair thing from blooming marvellous?

Seems to be just some material that you tie the baby to the chair with? I saw someone use one in a cafe I was in last weekend and seemed okay.

Or are the actual booster seat ones a bit more useful?

Yes I have something like it. I thought it was handy when my first was quite small but haven't used it at all second time around. Only useful for short period of time - when they are able to sit up but not too large or heavy to topple out. I think mine cost about £12 so it might be worth having one in your bag for the odd occasion when there isn't a highchair available. I ended up buying a booster seat in the end though.

I would go for an actual booster seat. I purchased a handbag highchair and never used it. Have just purchased a travel booster seat in Mothercare for £19 and it's fab! I use it at home and away and it's light and easy to carry (and needs no inflating!). Highly recommended.
