Buying the first bed...which one??

I want to move my toddler into a bed and want advise on where to buy one please! I don't want to put him in a cheap as chips contraption but don't want to spend the earth either. Does a £155 single divan with drawers from Argos sound good to you lot? Any tips on choosing or where to go other than Argos....

Go to ikea, get a cheap as chips bed and a really good mattress.
