Baby Bean Bags - thoughts?

What are people's thoughts on baby bean bags? And does anyone have any bean bag product suggestions?

I think I'd be a bit wary of baby suffocating :s do you mean the v large sit on ones?

I use the very large (adult sized ones) with my LO. its lovely to lie them in if they have fallen asleep in your arms and you need to get on with stuff.

but when they wake up they HATE it. because it interferes with their natural balance and is all slidy iyswim? they cant sit up properly and if they lean on it, it slides away.

however the three year olds love running and jumping into it as if it were a ball pit!

My MW told me that babies should not be put on bean bags because of hte risk of suffocation. Until the baby can move more independantly, they act a bit like quicksand and just suck the baby down into the centre.
