anyone know how to affix a fridge lock????????

If its any consolation, i put mine on back to front. The only person it stopped was my friend and brother. my ds looked bemused and pulled it off

You have one part attached to the side of the fridge, coming towards you, and the other part on the front of the fridge, locking into the first part.

My parents had one to stop the cat from opening it.

Yes, here's how you fix it:

Get one stairgate. Affix to the doorway of the kitchen. Let no kids in the kitchen without an accompanying adult

Seriously, I could never get fridgelocks or drawer locks to work EVER... stairgate was a much better solution for us :)
