Galt dino cushion or playnest - would you recommend buying one?

DS is 6 months old and I was thinking of buying a galt baby nest and gym to help him sit up, I know that this is late (so will probably buy second hand) and he will have limited use out of it so I was also considering the galt dino cushion as I thought that this might have a longer life. He has a bumbo and seems to like it (so does his DS aged 2.5) but I thought that a bit of variety might help. Any recommendations or views?

Got DS the babynest when he was 6mnths - had waited so long as always hoped someone would buy a babygym as a pressie, but never happened. He was never v keen on the things dangling above his head (although DD, now 14 wks loves them). However he did like sitting in the nest, and I think it helped him with sitting unaided and crawling. He started rolling around it and could therefore move around on his own and change the view when he got bored. Have recently got it out again for DD, as it helps protect her little head from low-flying plastic cars and tyre tracks from ride on cars, care of DS!
