DP likes freeserve.

tesco.net.

We're with them and they're great. Am almost cetain that you can have one of their email accounts without having them as your ISP (though they do both for us).

We use Beeb.net (changed to it from Freeserve). Not that busy so e-mail download is pretty fast and reliable. You can also access your messages on-line from any machine. No pop-ups or ads on the site either. Oh, and it's free.

If you are interested in a free e-mail account, you can try www.myownemail.com. It's generally free of pop-ups and I think I've only ever had one spam e-mail.

Tesco is free and also offers a free web mail service.

I use mail2uk who seem to be pretty good for a free email provider.
