Maclaren Quest/Triumph?Chicco XPlorer? Opinions wanted please!

I'm going to buy a new pushchair for ds2 (2) and this HAS to be the last one so I need to get it right. I want it to be lightweight, manouverable, have at least one reclining position, and a decent raincover.

Can't decide between Chicco XPlorer (cheapest - £40 in Argos), Maclaren Quest (£100 in Mothercare, which is too much, but £60 on Kiddicare), or Maclaren Triumph (£70 in Mothercare). Have heard the Maclaren Toledo is unstable and tips up easily - was wondering how the Quest and the Triumph compare. Also both Maclaren ones have TINY wheels - is that a problem? (am in a large town so not a great deal of off-roading going on!)

Any advice gratefully received!

But think of all the pushchairs you could buy with 23 kids

o, best get cracking then.

nutcracker, I've just bought a Mothercare Urban Detour on eBay, it is graded as all the mothercare labels have been blacked out but all I can see is a broken reflector on one of the wheels which could happen easily on any kerb, £56 bargain, this is my second Urban Detour and the older one, although slightly more compact than this one is manageable on the bus, it folds easily (although needs both hands) and locks shut. Suppose it depends how often you would use the bus.

Well i usually always go into the town centre on the bus, but i could walk it in about 20 mins. I also usually go to the docs on the bus but again i could walk that too (it's quite a nice walk too). I would keep a buggy too for if i really needed the bus. I walk to and from school every day so it would get ualot of use. Ds is only 1 so it should last me til he's out of a pushchair. Well until i find another that i like any way.
