we have an ibook with wireless via airport express. we are currently with NTL for phone and broadband, but thinking of switching to BT, at least for phone.

if you have a mac who do you use for broadband and would you recommend it?

BT, not wirelessly.

It is ok, but I am no expert.

When we signed up, the options were pretty limited as some of their routers weren't compatible. I think it's sorted out now though.

BT pretty clueless with Macs. I use Andrews & Arnold - an MN recommendation. If you search the archives, you'll find a thread on just this topic which gave some useful links.

we have an i-mac and have ntl broadband. Don't have a problem with it, it hasn't got download limits or anything but not a fan of ntl TBH

I have an iMac and we use Virgin.net (with BT for the phone) and we've not had any problems as yet.
