light/musical show for babies

Our dd2 is in a bassinet as we live in a tiny flat and dd1 is in the cot. We can't attach a mobile to the bassinet and need help getting her off to sleep. I was thinking of getting one of those light shows that play music and project pictures onto the walls and ceiling.
Any recommendations? are they worth it?
Thanks!

I adored mine, calmed DS every time, worth every penny of the £15 we paid for it, think it was a TOmy and could be put on to play for 15 mins

And how!! If our DS gets 'squirbly' (DHs word for upset & whingy) we put it on next to his cot and he's usually asleep before the 6 minute timer runs out.

We had a Tomy one but found it didn't work very well and it was quite hard to see the patterns.

I've just been looking on the ikea site and they have a lamp which projects pictures of stars, moons, planets etc. I think it's called Blimp and is £12.
I'm quite tempted to buy it for the new baby.

perhaps get a really lightweight mobile (\link{http://www.flensted-mobiles.com/Flensted} are the best) and put it into the ceiling with a drawing pin? Appreciate it doesn't help with the music angle - maybe a CD? or you could sing to her.... Grin
