ahh, thats maybe why she has requested them! she must equate them with being good, and therefore getting good lovely attention from mummy, then thinks (in a 4yr old kind of way) Hell, its my birthday, what would be greater than more lovely stickers and a fab time with mummy for being a good girl!!!!
((((proud emoticon, huh, who needs drtanyabrier!!!)

We bought dd a dolls house for her 4th. But her favourite present was a bar of honey soap, shaped like a bear! Hmmm!

we got dd a dressing table with pretend make-up

oh dd (same age) loves stickers.

My mum bought her a "mosaic" book which has loads of coloured square stickers and some pictures to stick them on and colour in. It has probably been her single most played with thing in the last month - really good.

the other thing that keeps her occupied for ages is her pile of beads and string - there are several posh-ish make your own jewelery kits about (the clickit ones are a bit difficult for that age, but she liked wathcing me do it anyway)

Agree about the beads - elc do a really ncie set with colours , shapes and letters, or a basic chunky Hama set. Otherwise does she have anything for outdoors like a scooter or trampoline which are popular with dd. She loves figures and books too and has a pop up \link{http://www.ottakars.co.uk/Internet/search/searchDetail.jsp?ISBN=1405020768\Fairy Princess Palace } which is often on offer in Waterstones or Ottakers, there is also a Winter Wonderland version and both get played with a lot.

Crayola make a simple sticker maker - you can colour them in and then put them through a machine and they come out as stickers.

has she got a scooter> My 4 yo loves her scooter. Wants to take it to the supermarket with her lol.

hulababy · 07/05/2006 16:51

Big present ideas: bike? scooter? Just got DD an electric scooter for her 4th birthday which she loves. Trampoline?

Smaller ones: craft stuff, including stickers; Hama beads; Ello; beads and threads to make necklaces, art books; Barbie; Polly Pocket; fancy dress...

LilacBump · 07/05/2006 16:53

a fairy duvet cover? felicity wishes books? dressing up things?

cazzybabs · 07/05/2006 17:24
