its like a thin version of a proper mattress

katzg · 06/05/2006 19:47

they do 2 sizes one for the square travel cots and one for the rectangle ones

sasa15 · 06/05/2006 20:01

excellent

are they any good?

Do you think that will be good for a 2 years old?

Can a 2 years old still sleep in a travel cot?

depends on the travel cot to be honest - we purposely bough one of the large rectungular cots(same size a reg cot) so that it would be ok,

re the mattress we bought it because dd1 woke up if she moved her head because of the rustle of the cot mattress fabric, but i would say it was a pain to take on a plane had to buy a suitcase that we could squeeze it in! but it made the cot look comfy - dd1 (now 3.5) sleeps in an inflateable ready bed, they do these for younger children too might be a better bet

friends ds has one of these \link{http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/P/B0007ZGOT4.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg\ready bed}

If he's 2 have you thought about a bed with a bed guard?

sasa15 · 07/05/2006 10:40

I think I will go for the travel cot with a matrass that will be deliver at the Holiday house anyway (my mother in law)

bed with guard...We haven't got space yet....

inflatable look really cute...

I will buy one for the future....

thank you very helpful!!!!
