Wrap dresses - argh! Who wants a shopping hunt?

Finally not pregnant, and it turns out that the shape suits me, unfortunately the one I tried on was bright coloured striped, and with breastfeeding norks, it wasn't overly flattering.

So now I'm trying to track down one with a small print of some sort on it, not too many colours (the one in the shop had all primary colours). One that is a proper wrap job, not sewn at the side (again, only way to get a decent fit round the bust).

Who wants to try and help me hunt for one?!

I liked the red with fine stripes on the thread a few weeks ago, but that was ebay :(

come see me, theres an independant clothes shop that sells lovely wrap dresses without fixed wrap, at least they did 2 weeks ago! Plain ones too!

You go armed with a camera, and I'll send you pennies Wink.

Would love to visit, but can't

Hobbs have some very flattering ones (in black or a brown print)
I think Boden do them too

lots of wrap dresses in the revamped Peacocks

I saw one on ebay and fancied it and it was a Marks and Spencer BNWT. Black with a print on it.

I am quite plump and never wear dresses, or buy stuff from Boden for that matter, but I bought one of the Boden wrap dresses in the mosaic print and it is lovely - very flattering indeed. they also have them in plain black and another print - quite expensive though.

Are they flattering for big, no huge norks then? I can't wear dresses either as they end up looking like tents.

How's it going?

flamesparrow · 06/05/2006 23:51

Grin I tend not to think to look at Boden!

Surfer - they seemed to suit me, I have a sticky outy bum though, so it could be that I balance out well Wink. Things are going well - we really need to get this next meet sorted!!!

I'll have a scout round some of the shops suggested - thankyou oodles.
