washing machine for men

just seen an ad in today's independent - Bosch have designed a washing machine with a "mixed load programme especially for men!"

Unfortunately unless the dirty clothes magically travel to the machine on their own I fear it will be no good for my DH.

lol!

And they will have to travel magically into the tumble dryer afterwards too.

My DSS and DH could take all the household appliances apart, rebuild them, install them and maintain them .... but ask for them to operate the buggering things .... no, not a bloody scooby!

From the Bosch site

"mixed load programme especially for men: this innovative load programme magically removes dirt and grime, whilst turning your partner into a 3 footer with a flat head and big ears and then turning him/her into a large pint of cool beer"

With a previous partner I had to put stickers on the machine explaining what went into each wash and what temp, he had a chemistry degree FFS.

Skribble, I think the problem is that they don't care if their clothes go a bit grey or shrink

singledad · 05/05/2006 23:43

Of course we care!! And dd's moan if their stuff goes baggy/bobbly/shrinks/changes colour - oops done all them Blush - but i use a regular womens' machine :)

PMSL. In our house it's DH that worries about sorting, I just shove everything in as a mixed load at 40 degrees Blush
