I've managed to get a cheap one off ebay from a shop.

Got it £35 cheaper.

If you bu on-line from Dixons, Currys, Comet etc you can get them a bit cheaper.

Check out the UK Apple store online - you can get free engraving on the back and really quick delivery.

Just to add, if you know anyone who is a student, get them to buy it for you if you go through the apple online store, as they will get a discount. I got mine from there, and the cover they provide is excellent, I dropped my ipod down the toilet the first day I got it Blush and I owned up to it, sent it for repair and they sent me a brand new one, within a week, with no quibble

toys r us quite cheap too

iPodthereforiPoor · 04/05/2006 14:40

oh and an external hard drive - I had to get one as my computer did't have enough memory to store the cd's i was putting onto my 1Gbipd.

oh and a new version of windows for PC as I didn't have XP

and a case for the gym

and speakers

and...

it gets a bit expensive - my £100 ipod bargin soon ended up costing an extra £200 on top of purchase price!
