prescription sunglasses - mirrored available?

am going to treat myself to some new sunglasses. Really liked a pair of Raybans which were goldy coloured lenses and nice and reflective. Vision Express said NO - can only have polarised coating - which didn't look very mirrored. Anyone advise please?

I get prescription Oakleys (poncey I know but cheaper than buying shades and prescription goggles for skiing) from \link{http://www.gosportsspex.co.uk/OakleyPrescriptionSportsSpectacles.asp\here} - the lenses come in any Oakley finish including several mirrored ones, and they can fit replacements if your presciption changes.

They don't do RayBan but do have a good selection of other brands.

thanks Mrsbadger - Oakleys were the only ones she said could do as mirrored - but I didn't really suit any of the frames - may try them again tho.

looking at your website - there are many more frames to choose from - maybe I just need to get to a bigger selection in a store.

I did that - tried frames in a Sunglass Hut or somewhere (ie not an optician), then got px ones through the site in the shape I'd tried.

I'm an optometrist and our glazing lab can do a mirrored coating. I'm in Ireland so not much help to you but I would ring around other opticians in your area. I'm sure it's not exclusive to Ireland!

To frames other than Oakley I mean!
