Personal Organisers (not electronic)

Can anyone reccommend a good, easy to use personal organiser system? There are so many to choose from but I want a stylish, comprehensive system so that I can keep all my stuff in one place. Any ideas?

Ghengis, Do you mean like a filofax? If so I have one that fits neatly in my handbag - I think it is called pocket size. It has everything I need - DP got it for me for Christmas last year to match his (bless) and I went to filofax website to reorder the diary etc for this year. Highly recommend it as I used to carry a diary and address book and photos of the kids all seperately.

I have the personal size filofax and love it. I had a look at the cheaper "own brand" WHSmiths ones but none of them were quite right, and I found the inserts for filofax were easier to get hold of everywhere.

Couldn't live with out it now, I don't think.

I also have a "pocket" size filofax. Love it. Wouldn't dream of swapping it for an electronic version. Have had mine about 5 years and had the big one before that. But when I had ds1 I realised I needed to scale my things down as I was lugging so much about.
Usually get inserts in rymans or other small stationers who do a larger range of filofax stuff than smiths tends to as they do their own range. Although for stuff like plain/lined paper i do buy the smiths stuff.

I agree. I used to have a Palm Pilot but in the end gave it to dh as I never turned the damn thing on. As soon as I had a proper paper version I used it all the time.

Great, a filofax it is then. Thanks all

I have an a5 sized filofax - it is quite big but I highly recommend it as you can use it as a proper notebook as well, I am addicted to mine and it really does hold my whole life.

Ebay is a good place to buy them - they last really well and are worth buying second hand.

I have a wonderful filofax called the pocket brompton. It's big, but it has two sections - one side a filofax, the other a wallet/purse, so it really does hold everything

I have a Microfile which is like a Filofax, bought it on Ebay for about a1/4 of the normal price and only needed to change the out of date calendar. It is like a best friend.
