If you mean the inflatable ring that babies can sit and play in then yes brilliant. I had one for my twins and we used it for ages.

I had one for my DD. She loved it from when she was a baby until when she learnt to sit. It was good as it supported her when she wasn't quite sitting on her own. When she was pre-crawling she used to hurl herself around in it. When she started to be more mobile she would escape from it so we stopped using it when she was around 9 months. From 1 month - 9 months it was probably our most used toy.

I recently got one cheaply on ebay. Big hit with the cat and 5 year old DD, not doing much for DS (18 weeks) but he's probably a bit young at the moment. I think I'm going to try a Bumbo

Ds loved it from when he could sit up (with support) until he got mobile. I'd recommend it. Ebay sounds good, or the local paper ads. It doesnt need to be new as the cover is washable.

my dd loved hers and used it for months. Helped her with her sitting up ( she has hypotonia with her down's syndrome) she also loved the hanging toys from the frame and then just sitting in the ring as she got older.

kittypickle - just curious - how much did you buy yours for - thinking of selling mine second hand....?!?!

I've been following this with interest because my DS is getting bored with his flat activity gym (Blossom Farm, DD loved it but DS wants to sit up) since he is already 6 months I only want to buy a second hand babynest with gym, anyone want to clear some space!

Eisvold - mine came without the hanging toys on the frame and I think it came to 16.50 including postage.

My 9mo has one and he loves crawling in and out of it, a bit like an adventure playground for him! We also have a bumbo and they are also brilliant, we are always using it.
