We inherited one with this house and never use it. Terrifies the toddler and collects ming in all the holes!!!

jampots · 01/05/2006 23:23

great invention. makes a tiny dot of bubble bath swell to mammoth proportions.

bramblina · 01/05/2006 23:32

Great invention. Can keep dh amused for hours.
MTT- you're just showing off Grin
LL, clean them with dishwasher tablets- a cleaning agent that doesn't foam.

SueW, someone we know has recently got a hot-tub. I am just dreading the day they invite us over.... need to start planning my excuses now...the thought of basically sharing a bath with anyone outside my family....euch

Accoring to a Sunday times article - soon to be v v naff. However I love ours - it is on every day - so any water doesn't stagnate and we all love it. toddler initially scared - now in 7th heaven. initially skeptical dh also a big fan

hub2dee · 02/05/2006 08:20

Get one with a blower which runs after the bath is empty to blow out all traces of water so you don't die of Legionaire's.

Twiglett · 02/05/2006 11:05

do you have one hub?

was just thinking might be good for DH's arthritis

we had one in our villa in spain last year. It was great fun!. We chucked a load of bubble bath in it, and the kids then turned it on and bubbles went everywhere. They thought it was great. Grin

oliveoil · 02/05/2006 11:20

bit naff

although the one in our suite when we got married in Las Vegas was good as you could see the whole of the strip lit up out of the window

Note, The Strip, not my strip.

Twiglett · 02/05/2006 11:47

LOL oo

hub2dee · 02/05/2006 11:57

Yeah, Twig. With heater-blower (ensures incoming air entering mix is preheated so bath water doesn't cool at silly rate). You / dh welcome to splash ITH. We didn't go for Jacuzzi brand. Independents can drill / plumb just about any bath.

Twiglett · 02/05/2006 12:23

hey hun .. do you remember which brand .. could you email me?

I'm just having a scout around at the mo .. I'm going to go to CP Hart to drool in a few weeks Grin

We bought it a few years ago. Can't remember which brand but will be in the receipts from the bathroom shop. I even went to the little company that actually did the installation of the various pumps and pipes on the bath shell as I needed a blower swapped over... will try and scratch head or make a phone call... that may be cheaper than ordering it through a showroom...
