The Zoot and the alpine in Toys r us, made by bruin. Do they suffer with wheel wear very quickly

dunno about wheel wear but i saw someone with one the other day and it looked really nice

comes with free footmuff worth £30 and good prices too only £49 or £59 i think if my memory serves me correctly

i think ours is an alpine

I love it - the wheels seem to have worn well so far

Two things though - the hood pings off the frame quite easily
And the seat liner bit doesnt sit in the seat all that well

Fab pushchair though, my favourite of the 5 that we have had, especially given the price!

mmm may have to go check it out again then. Don't think they quite as light as some of the others

In fact I took ds and dd out on a bus today - had to fold pushchair as small bus with no space!

I managed on my own fine, no trouble.
I folded up the pushchair and carried it on, with bags and dd 22 months all in my arms - surprisingly easy!

longwaytogo · 30/04/2006 19:36

I think i'm going to buy one then

right someone help me please. Just tried to order one at toys r us online it says you can get a free footmuff and it will be discounted at checkout, says its available on both colours but when you put it through on the blue and black one it does not discount the footmuff. Why? If it says its available then it should be on both not just the colour that is more expensive.

OP posts:
busybusybee · 30/04/2006 21:39

Are you going for the Alpine then?
I thought that was only available in one colour way - black with blue 'surf' bits!

longwaytogo · 30/04/2006 22:06

no its available in black and silver too but its more expensive and that seems to be the only one the foot muff is going through on although on the pic it says available for the blue one too

We bought ours - in store 4 months ago.

The footmuff was something you picked up separately from a big heap of them nearby

Even in store it wasnt entirely clear tbh

longwaytogo · 30/04/2006 22:15

right will go to store tomorrow then. Does it fold up quite small busybee, we going on hols in 2 1/2 weeks and need somehting small with 6 of us and 2 pushchairs needed

It folds as small as any umbrella pushchair - I think
Without the cosy toes it folds better

Moving the leg rest up and down is a superior skill - not tricky but I didnt manage to work it out without assistance - I challenge you to figure it out!!!!

longwaytogo · 30/04/2006 22:24

ohh right a pushchair challenge i do like them. I loved working in the charity shop and being the only one able to figure out how to put pushchairs up and down. Comes of being a pushchairholic fo rthe last 13 years i guess.

ok busybusybee i sussed it, like i said i think i should have a degree in pushchair putting up and down and adjusting etc.
