When we moved in here our plaster fire surround was painted with 'wood effect' paint like
this
they knidly let us the paint in the garage...
we want to get rid of it and paint the fire place a different colour (off white) but don't know how best to get rid of it
it has a shiny textureed effect
sanding then primer then paint?
anyone with experience of this???
