am planning spanky new kitchen, oak shaker style units, black granite surface and wanted to have a range cooker, dual feul. We currently have a gas hob and a seperate oven built in over the other side of kitchen, so I wanted it all in one place but am a bit worried about ds1 (1) and Ds2 (3) touching the oven as they're not used to having one at child level. I'm worried that I can't keep my eyes on them all teh time whilst the oven is on. DS2 would prob be OK. What have you found - do the doors get hot enough to burn, would I be better going for models that don't have glass doors.
Second questions is -can I get a gas hob on a range that has the nice black ceramic finish underneath \link{http://www.neff.co.uk/635905.html\like this}

\link{http://www.ciao.co.uk/Stoves_1000GDL_gas_range_cooker__5314647\I've got this one} and it is fine - the doors do get a bit hot, but I've got a 2 year old DS who insists on accompannying me into the kitchen EVERY time! He has touched it once, it didnt burn him and he just ignores it now. :)

We have one it is fine

I just told dd that it is HOT

The outside doesn't get hot tbh and we have glass doors

Well the answer to your Q has to be YES as you have linked to one!

CD - no sorry didn't explain myself properly - the link was just to a stand alone built in hob, what I need is that hob but on a range cooker. Can't seem to find it.

Ah sorry

Never seen one myself but I don't go around looking tbh!

I like that a lot- have looked at a v similar one yesterday. Think I'll go for stainless steel as the hood and sink will be s steel. Just saw the ceramic finish on that neff gas hob and thought it looked vvv nice, but think I'm looking for the impossible for it in a range cooker.
