It's so hard to figure out which one to get, since all of the ones on Amazon have reviews on either extreme. I had lots of hip problems with last pregnancy, thinking now it could have been SPD, so I want to be really careful about exercise this time. I've realized that the prenatal yoga I was doing last time is probably contraindicated (lots of yogic squats, etc.).

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
jabber

I had the 'pilates in pregnancy' dvd (the one with the woman in the green top on the front). It wasn't bad but I started a bit late and lacked the commitment to test it out fully! It has different levels of difficulty depending what stage of pregnancy you're at, I'd say it's worth a go, it's defo not as annoying as other similar dvds.

Given your problems last time though, could you join a class designed for pregnancy? If you're lucky enough to have one nearby

That's the problem. We live in a really small town. I teach the only belly dance class, which I probably won't be able to do for a while now, and then the yoga class won't work either Sad

i did the lynn robinson pregnancy one, very good but i used to do pilates before anyway, not sure what it might be like for beguiner.
no back pain whatever during pregnacy was biggest bonus and i did get huge

I've done some pilates years ago but not on a regular basis, so am trying to take that into consideration. Anything that will help with back pain would be great!
