Dyson broke - can't find receipt

Just snapped a part off the Dyson ball which means it won't rotate. I bought it in July from John Lewis but can't find the sodding receipt.

Any ideas where I start? John Lewis, Dyson or household insurance?

Must have done - just called John Lewis who gave me Dyson's number. They looked me up from the serial number and are sending a man out to fix it.

I work for a home shopping co. we sell dyson who have a 3yr warranty so any company who sell you a new one should always point you back to dyson. They are very good with their aftercare. Good luck!

3 years? I've just bought a DC19 and I'm sure it came with a 5 year guarantee.
