Tesco Baby Wipes

Hi, I just thought I'd let people know if they hadn't realised this. Tesco used to sell boxes of their own brand wipes 12 x 80 wipes for £10.50. They have just changed this to boxes of 12 x 64 wipes still for £10.50!! Angry This is a 25% price increase and there was no notice of the change so I bet they are hoping us stressed mums don't notice the drop in wipes quantity as the price hasn't changed but I did. I know prices increase but 25% is a bit excessive so watch those sneaky shops.....

ooh, thanks, very nasty trick!

I actually always check the little comparison notes - 1.7p/sheet or 2.5p/sheet - especially with the deals, just don't trust them anymore!

They currently have an offer on their own wipes in individual packs...3 packs for £2.70. I think that currently works out marginally cheaper at £10.80 for 12 packs. Worth a look, if you don't mind buying them separately? Smile

Ooop baby brain, thought op said £12.80.... ignore me Grin

I use the value wipes; they've done the same with those though. At one point I was paying 18p for 80, its gone up to around 61p now for 72! Don't see how they can justify such an increase.

And the own brand nappies, in the new packaging, are lighter on contents too.
Size 4's are down to 40/pack rather than 46. Same price.
