what product will make my whites white again?

Hi all, unfortunately some of my [white] baby clothes have been mixed up with the general colours wash (should have been in the white/lights only wash) and they've now gone that grey-white colour. How do I get them back to looking white?

I have just tried a free sachet of Glo White, but it's made no difference at all! I can't bleach (not that I have ever tried this on clothes!) cos there is a light pastel print on one of the items.

Help! :)

sunshine is good. or bleach. none of the "miracle" products have ever worked for me.

or, you could dye them all a comletely different colour.

If possible (cottons only) try a really hot wash up to 95 degrees with some arial automatic (or even your usual powder).

I bought Dylon's colour run rescue/remover, it gives pretty good results so long as you wash the stuff asap after the accident and follow the dosage instructions and only do a few items at a time.

my MIL uses vanish powder in her wash - think it is a stain remover.
works brilliantly but irritates the hell out of ds2's skin

Napisan?

you can buy something called colour catcher; think it's made by the same company as glowhite

never tried it tho

You could try using Borax - more eco-friendly than bleach, and less likely to irritate the skin I imagine. Not tried it myself, but read it somewhere recently and have been meaning to give it a try.

You can buy it in Boots - apparently you just soak your whites in a solution overnight and it brings up them up bright and white again.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll try them out and let you know! :)
