P&T Newborn cocoon - how long did you use?

Dd2 is 10 weeks and has practically outgrown the cocoon - she is quite long - now what? How long are the cocoons supposed to last.

Do I just lie her flat with a coat etc - I do have one of the sleeping bags - but won't be using it when it gets warm!

Obviously too young to be in the rear toddler seat.

What did you do? Smile

Couldn't you lay her on the bottom half of your P&t sleeping bag, with a light blanket or sheet over, if using the whole sleeping bag would be too warm ? Or buy a buggy fleece from somewhewre like John Lewis.

i laid a double up blanket over the bottom and wrapped dd3 up snuggly with another blanket. she outgrew it at 6months, but tbh i didnt use it much past 3months as it was summer. it was very handy at things like docs surgeries as i could lift her out sleeping.
