Looks good (but my parents have it - and it isn't very comfortable).

Unity · 19/04/2006 21:33

Unoffensive to view.

SHHHH · 19/04/2006 21:33

Think it's looks really nice. I would buy it if I had a conservatory..

cod · 19/04/2006 21:34

lucy5 · 19/04/2006 21:34

edam · 19/04/2006 21:36

OK I suppose but boring.

waterfalls · 19/04/2006 21:36

I dont like it, looks like its just for show, and not sitting on,looks uncomfortable.

JoolsToo · 19/04/2006 21:37

I like the look but as others have said - wonder about the comfort.

cod · 19/04/2006 21:37

jampots · 19/04/2006 21:37

I am fussy with cane furniture, but \link{http://www.caneonline.co.uk/acatalog/dallas_suite.html\this} looks comfier.

MrsBadger · 19/04/2006 21:48

honestly? it's dull
you don't need to use rattan just because it's traditional for conservatory furniture - for £260 (ie significantly less) you could get a proper \link{http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?topcategoryId=15585&catalogId=10103&storeId=7&langId=-20&parentCats=15585161861618816855&productId=10972\sofa}, two \link{http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?topcategoryId=15585&catalogId=10103&storeId=7&productId=66414&langId=-20&parentCats=155851576815940\armchairs} and a \link{http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?topcategoryId=15585&catalogId=10103&storeId=7&langId=-20&parentCats=155851618616188&productId=71751\footstool}
Or for £300 you could get that same sofa, two \link{http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?topcategoryId=15585&catalogId=10103&storeId=7&productId=60835&langId=-20&parentCats=15585
1576815940\more traditional armchairs} and a \link{http://www.ikea.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?topcategoryId=15564&catalogId=10103&storeId=7&productId=13559&langId=-20&parentCats=1556415797*15799\coffee table}.

Get creative!

Cappucino · 19/04/2006 22:08

oooh Mrs Badger I know your sort Grin are you indulging yourself there in a bit of vicarious shopping? Wink

I'm with you all the way. Suspicious also of buying furniture you can't sit on in advance.

cod · 19/04/2006 22:09

ebveen the ikea rattan stuff is funkier

cod · 19/04/2006 22:10

why not just buy normal furniture liek we did?

JoolsToo · 19/04/2006 22:12

we're moving soon to house with a conservatory (our first [coy emoticon]) and we've the cane/rattan stuff is too uncomfortable so we'll probably go with a couple of Ikea sofas instead

JoolsToo · 19/04/2006 22:12

we've decided!

MerlinsBeard · 19/04/2006 22:13

Honestly? i hate cane furniture. and its so cliched to have it in conservatory anyway. Think ordinary furnitire looks much better and will be comfier too!

Feistybird · 19/04/2006 22:14

we have 2 ikea sofas - v.comfy. You get a conservatory to relax in (at least we did till the dds turned it into a playroom), so you need comfort

welshboris · 19/04/2006 22:18

Its Ok

If you enjoy countdown and horlicks and wear beige slacks

expatinscotland · 19/04/2006 22:20

i wouldn't want to sit on it. doesn't look comfortable.

AllieBongo · 19/04/2006 22:21

i'd be concerned about snagging my tights on the wickery bits

KristinaM · 19/04/2006 22:21

ignore welsh boris - she is just mixing it tonightGrin
