i always wanted one of those treehouses. they were by Fisher price I think.

JonesTheSteam · 16/04/2006 14:51

I think my sister had one of those.

bubblerock · 16/04/2006 14:51

Looks like they're pretty collectable! \link{http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Kenner-Palitoy-Tree-Tots-Tree-House-1970s-Classic_W0QQitemZ6050569461QQcategoryZ30QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem\here} I remember them too. If you look on ebay at vintage toys, fisher price etc... they have loads that I remember. We still have some like the camper! Grin

fennel · 16/04/2006 14:51

JoolsToo · 16/04/2006 14:54

edam · 16/04/2006 14:56

Oh, bathed in a happy glow of nostalgia here... I loved mine. Especially the lift that took the little people up the trunk.

GeorginaA · 16/04/2006 15:01

The only thing to be careful of is that I had a fisherprice dolls house of the same vintage - years up in the loft made the plastic very brittle and the chimney disintegrated when we got it out again for our kids.

Be a bit careful that the fisherprice stuff on ebay doesn't have the same plastic fatigue... (it crumbled leaving fairly sharp edges too)

peaches27 · 16/04/2006 21:58

Is this the weebles? or am I imagining it? Did it have little people who wobbled over but didnt fall down?

On the fisher price thingy, bad luck with the disintegration thingy. Our grandkids have inherited our kids Fisher Price Main Street and lots of little people and cars etc and its still great and in good condition. The little people things were better 20+ years since, especially the garage.

I had one too. I loved it and had completely forgotten about it until now. Thanks Waterfalls for the happy reminder.

My friend had one. I never did.
Feel like I had a deprived childhood :o

lact8 · 17/04/2006 01:15

Aaah, I loved my tree so much, with the little lift that went up the middle of the trunk? And the little bush that you could take off which flipped open and a cat lived inside it. That was one of my best toys for years Smile
