Our washing machine has given up so in his wisdom, DH has decided we need a washer/dryer and that this was really a blessing in disguise!
Can you recommend your washer /dryer? What make and model is it please?
Thanks

I had a washer/dryer many moons ago and would never have one again. They may have improved but on mine the dryer cycle would only take half a wash load so you are always behind. And while it's drying you can't get on with your next load of washing. It wasn't very good at washing or drying, so I have never had one again. (Mine was a Zanussi)

We have a Miele. Expensive, but so worth it. I struggled with a Hotpoint for years and hated it.

The Miele actually gets stuff dry rather than just hot and wet.
