which sony vaoi laptop?

need best for £1000 for surfing and stuff - no games. Any recommendations?

Not Sony I have got an ACER absolutely fab and very reasonable great screen took it on hols to keep up with the office and the kids wathced DVDs cost @ £600. Very very happy with it.
