Anyone got a KHYAM tent?

As we have just had to return a Khyam Sun shelter / gazebo thing as it arrived with poles making holes in flysheet. This was explained as happening in transport (importing) if box stored on end - BUT I am wondering if the inbuilt poles are prone to doing this when stored.

My DH had one. He liked it because it puts itself up. Always good when you're camping and it starts to rain.

Have you got a customer support phone number? These companies are usually quite good at sorting out their problems!

Or you could ask on UKCampsite and see if any one else has any problems!

We have a KHYAM tent and no, the poles don't make holes while its being stored.

New one was delivered yesterday - no quibbles (Outdoor Megastore), but DH was worried same problem might happen when being transported by us.

It's a fab sized, fully waterproofed shelter though, which will suit our large camping parties.
