free spyware for my pc that i can download anyone?

getting totally naffed off with constant pop ups-all with slightly different names but which turn out to be the same company!- trying to get me to download their software.apparently, this is the only way i can get rid of pop-ups...? does anyone know of a reputable downloadable software that i can use?

I use spybot and ad-aware for getting rid of ad stuff on my PC. There are popup-blockers out there as well, I don't know if anyone can help with that?

Are you using Internet Explorer? Switch to the \link{http://www.mozilla.com/firefox\Firefox} browser instead and you won't have the problem in the first place!
