Does anyone have this stair gate? Can you tell me...

That it does screw in the walls? it depends on your walls, not the gate. Its screw mounted, so you will have to drill unless you can mount it on wood. I screwed my downstairs gate into the wooden door surround and the wooden banister.

If you don't want to drill, try pressure-mounted gates.
